Many English learners believe that they must memorize all or most of the rules of English grammar in order to be able to speak correctly.
Some students and teachers even think that studying grammar is a "short cut" or faster way to improve their English.
Unfortunately, this is usually not true, epecially for speaking and listening.
When you are speaking or listening , you usually don't have time to stop and think about the specific grammar rules consciously. If you did, you would have to speak ...very slowly.
Most of what we use when we communicate is "unconscious"; that is, we use knowledge that we don't have to think about or even know the rules for.
Here is a very important point to keep in mind:
The best way to be able to use good grammar is to listen and to read English you can understand.
Most native speakers of English can't explain to you the rules of grammar, but they can speak and write English without any problems.
How is this possible?
That is because they have listened and read a lot of English, and they know the rules unconsciously, without having to think of them.
For you to get this same ability, you can only need to listen and read as much as you can in English.
This is what I believe and have been doing.

My wife and I had to take turn staying up all night attending to her.
I was tired losing sleep, worrying myself sorry.
But that did not stop me from coming to class everyday teaching and seeing to my responsibilities.

An idea of teaching approach.
No one is saying that tearchers cheat, but how they design a procedure of drilling, a way of explaining, a way to winning their learners' hearts can practically preordain the results.
What ways to make us happier?
Politicians are looking to the dismal science for ways to make us happier-
but is the well-being state a bad idea?
Think about what would make you really happy.
More money? wrong. 2.5 smiling, well-adjusted kids? wrong again.
Now think about what would make you most unhappy:
losing your sight or a bad back.
The fact is, we are terrible at predicting the source of joy.
(Sex is the big exception, but you get the point.)
And whatever choices we do make, we likely later decide it was all for the best.

Why do I learn English?

There is a strong belief among certain group of teachers that they should take every possible step to keep their learners better, active and motivated without regard for the basic background of the learners' education.
WHAT A COMBINATION!
I started to learn.
I was doing 2 part time jobs.
I had not been understanding much English.
We are able to stop or restart doing anything at anytime.
We needed.
We have been prepared.
We are doing with great efforts and warm hearts.
People have been doing.
That I started to learn while I was doing 2 part time jobs and had not been understanding much has proven that we are able to start or restart doing anything which we needed at anytime no matter how much we have been prepared if we are doing it with great efforts and warm hearts to achieve what people have been wanting.

My idea about speaking- 2
Part of reason that speaking is too difficult for a lot of people is
that they're spending a lot of money and time on schools or classes
that's of limited value in terms of improving practical skill.
Now, in a way that makes things seem easier than they actually are
because if we can say,
"Here's the way that does a lot of good, and here's the way that's kind of wasted." that would be easy.

My idea about speaking
The most important choice you make in speaking English better is who you choose to be, yourself.
If you want to do your best in speaking, it hardly matters when you speak to whom you speak.
On the other hand, if you choose not to be very motivated, not to be very understandable, not to be very successful, not to work very hard, you probably won't get good speaking skills.

An unforgetable telephone conversation
If I hadn’t spoken the way I did, it would never have happened to me or I would never have found a way a woman could ask me for her own need.
It happened to me in a morning when I was free, 13 years ago. When I got a telephone call, I was wondering what an American woman had been wanting me to help her do something. She sounded friendly and she explained she got to know me through a teen-age learner of mine who told her that I would be a nice guy, well, rather attractive. I imagined she had been lacking companionship and she needed to talk. I kept in mind the first air-conditioned- coffee shop- Phi Khanh- which had just been open so I was thinking of meeting her there. After talking to me for a few minutes, once being asked she made a slip of tounge, a VietNamse sound. So I asked her if she was a VietKieu. She admited that she left VN when she was 9 and she had been there for 20 years. At the moment, she was working as a registered nurse and she did not let me know much more about herself, neither did I. We acted the way Americans often do.
“I have overheard a nice cafe just open in town. Do you think we should be able to meet there for some small talks?” I said.
“My parents don’t let me go out and I think I have something else to do sooner or later.” replied quickly the lady.
“How do we get to know each other better if we don’t talk face to face?”
I actually wanted to talk to her as much as I had done once at a family gathering night of my learner’s weddings where I met a young- talented-lady who was studying for a master degree in International relationship.
“I prefer talking.” announced shortly she.
I felt a bit embarrassed and I wanted to know what she really wanted me to do. As a matter of fact, she refused to go out with me for a coffee. And as a Viet Namese- American woman, she asked me a question that I had never been thinking or reading, hearing from anywhere.
“Do you think you could stay with me overnight in a hotel room?”
I could not believe my ears so I asked for repetition putting it my own way.
“Do you mean to ask me to be with you overnight in a hotel?
“Yes.” she sounded so naturally and calmly.
“Do you think I could satisfy you sexually or physically?”
I wanted her to hear the adverbs so I stressed on them.
“I hope so.”
What a situation I fell in and I did not know how to deal with it. If any guy had been fallen in the same situation as mine, what would they have done and what would have women thought of it?
“I have to teach this evening till 9 and I have to prepare for something…”
“I could take care of everything and I’ll give you a call call then.” quickly replied the lady.
The conversation made me tense and concerned of course. It was a kind of challenge I had ever been in.
I had to attend the first year birthday of one of my young friends’s duaghters. There I kept figuring out what to do how to prepare for such a meeting. Fortunately, I recalled myself of Vu- one of my close learners. I called him asking for help in case I would have to go out. He promised to tell my wife a lie so there would be no problem at all. In class, I felt nervous and I could not stop myself from telling the learners that evening what had happened and what would probably happen next. Some doubted and wondered why I could show them what seemed to be a private matter.
One explaination I could find was “Anything is possible.”
